Fan-art and fan fiction outlines unique imagination fans and what their perception of diverse characters or distinct aspects of a film. Notably, fan art and fan fiction outline the views of the fan and thus does not entirely outline aspects of the original film. The art outlines things that people can relate with and thus the artist tries to come up with art which is an extension of the original and thus offers people a unique focus on things they might have missed in the film. Similarly, the extension also entails the ideas and views of the fans that might be untold or missing in the film. The film “Fan Art: An Explosion of Creativity” stipulates that fans receive motivation from films and thus their art is inspired by the play (PBSoffbook, 2012). However, the art can be either complimentary or unique in comparison with the play.
