Factors Determining Ease of Achieving Homeostasis
In basic terms, homeostasis can be defined as the crucial balancing process body engages in to maintain a constant internal environment. The body has an internal process that effectively adjusts to create a conducive environment to facilitate essential cell activities and a crucial enzymatic process. The body has built-in mechanisms that detect both intracellular and extracellular changes in normal situations and initiate the necessary response to counter the detectable changes. Usually, the swiftness of a normal body to attain homeostasis is affected by factors such as the body fluids and the electrolytes, immune responses mediators, and the body energy and nutrition. This paper will comprehensively discuss the factor affecting the human body's achievement of homeostasis.
One factor determining how swift the human body achieves metabolism is the fluids and electrolytes. Electrolytes s are usually the charged minerals found in blood, urine, and other fluids in the human body (Hausmann et al., 2019). Electrolytes and body fluids are key determinants of how fast or slow the body can attain a homeostatic state (Pluvinage & Wyss-Coray, 2020). The presence of charged electric electrolytes is crucial in controlling and balancing the amount of water in the body to facilitate cellular activities. During hydration, the electrolytes direct water to the required organs in the body. Additionally, the
