The human body constantly requires food for growth, survival and maintenance of bodily health. The demand for food on a daily basis has led to the development of irregular eating habits commonly referred to as eating disorders over years. These include anorexia nervosa which is usually described by extreme abstinence from food and bulimia nervosa characterized by binge eating.
