Thus, the donation of body organs is an emerging trend in the medical field that has been introduced into medical practice more recently as medical researchers strive to find solutions to health problems associated with body organs. A number of organs can be successfully donated from one person to the other. The most commonly sought after organs for donation are the kidney, liver, lungs, pancreas and the heart. Donation of body organs presents a number of ethical concerns that have set pace for the controversy associated with the practice.
