For this study, a comparison between Aquasafara, Inc., and Red Chamber Co. will be made. This comparison will be made on the companies’ locations, customer services, products, and applied marketing strategies. Aquasafara is operated and owned by Mike Picchietti and Jim Riggin. Its operations are based on a debt-free policy which provides a minimal overhead maintaining power. Aquasafara is the largest and oldest Tilapia hatchery enterprise in the United States. The company has been able to keep the industry’s track record, which has, in turn, allowed it to assert a significant competitive advantage. Furthermore, this location allows for a low cost of production. This, coupled with its robust customer services, has been pivotal towards the company’s success—Aquasafara deals in brood-stocks and tilapia fingerlings.
