Kathryn McNeil is a single mother aged 37 years and is employed by Sayers Micro world as the head Product management in the IBM sector. McNeil is supervised by Lisa Walters who is the director of product management .Lisa is then supervised by Charles Foley who is the Vice President of Product control unit. The three of them are supervised by the top management of Sayers Marks systems CEO, James Vesterman. The main problem being faced by Kathryn as an employee at Sayers Micro world is having the ability to incorporate the huge amount of paper work together with her parental obligations baring the fact that she is a single mother.
Although she had proved to be that sufficient employee that has the ability to manage the tasks that she has been provided with ,eventually the workload continues to go up to the extent that it interfered with her parental duties of take care of her son, and this was so overwhelming to her .It affects her Psychologically and mentally. In addition, she received a number of pressure degree from Walter and Foley together with the VP, Vesterman in her efforts of attempting to successfully balance between her work and life .In this situation we can typically assess Lisa Walter as a callous leader with regard to this situation.
A callous leader can be described as one who is unkind or a leader who is downplaying the needs or the wishes of their followers. Lisa can be observed as typically a callous leader due to the fact that she is providing Kathryn McNeil with minimal room due to small mistakes in her work....
