Creativity plays a key role in the progress of any company. This serves as a requirement for every employee in company which anticipates excellent productivity to be achieved. This is due to the fact that creativity enhances the visionary, strategic, ideational, diagnostic, evaluative, contextual and tactical thinking. Leaders are expected to be creative to formulate coherent vision, come up with new ideas, products or services to change the world. This should serve as the concern for recruitment of leaders whether locally or externally.
The recruitment of locals towards the managerial positions upholds the morale of staff to work extremely hard due on the challenge they have in their mind that the company is recognizing the hard work done by workers. This makes every employee to increase their productivity with surety of moving to the fields of their interest and acquisition of top positions.
Also on the same issue we find that less cost is being spent when company advertises the managerial position internally to fit on the post because the resource department needs only to post in the bulletin board rather than when they require an external person, it requires doing advertisement in the internet and media.
On the other hand hiring locals is limited to new ideas. There is a need to get external employees to introduce new knowledge and concepts for the better performance of the company. This will enhance exploration of new skills ...
