Letter to loved one Name Affiliation Course Professor Date Dear Father, Good day, dad, I understand that we seldom talk to each other since I went to Angel Island in the U.S. through letters. It has been six years since I left when I was 18 years old. I appreciate the effort the government made to pay for immigration and secure the opportunity after the earthquake. Also, I am thankful for the support that you and Mom have provided. Life has been good, and I am still working towards the American dream since I became a citizen. However, life is not as I expected.
