John Maxwell argued that “The first responsibility of a leader is servanthood” (Comfort, 2017). The video, “FRONTLINE and NPR Investigate the Billions Spent on Affordable Housing, and Why So Few Get the Help They Need,” tells a story about different values. It exposes developers who steal funds from “Section 8” housing program that was established to help needy Americans in accessing affordable homes in secure neighborhoods. The documentary is a timely and probing portray of the injustice and level of corruption by government officials in today’s America. However, the government has the power to change this situation by implementing policies that will investigate such cases, punish corrupt officials, and help American people to benefit from “Section 8” housing vouchers.
