Abstract
Today, in many societies, women are relegated to the background. They are seen as inferior when compared to their male counterparts. This kind of mindset has made some to feel that women should not be allowed to engage in key positions in politics, commerce or industries. Rather, they should be restricted to the home where they just handle chores and take care of the children. This essay gives sound argument, stating the reasons why that idea is faulty. It shows that women should be given the opportunity to take up whatever job they so desire.
