An education management position primarily requires the holder to oversee proper curriculum delivery and ensure high standards of learning for students (Connoly, James & Furtig, 2019). He/she should ensure that courses and training programmes are quality and professionally crafted, with the students’ best interests taken into account at all times. They should closely monitor learning schedules to ensure that lectures are given as expected and regular student assessment done in line with school policies. They also engage students and teaching staff and devise innovative methods of developing the curriculum to yield better learning outcomes for the students. It is their duty to ensure that teaching staff hired have adequate training and exhibit institutional core values. In many cases, it is also their mandate to oversee proper financial management and supervise projects and cost systems.
