Lionel Messi is a professional footballer who has received numerous world titles. He is my favorite athlete since he has managed to bag numerous trophies with his Barcelona football club. He has won world player of the year titles better known as Ballon D’ or. He is currently the best football player in the world and some people also consider him as the greatest footballer in soccer history.
1.I really admire Leo as popularly known because he is always willing to help the society through his personal values and by means of social good where he gives back to the society through the LeoMessiFoundation. He has joined hands with UNICEF (United Nations Children Fund).
LeoMessi foundation is a perfect example of leadership integrity. This is because as a leader in the field of sports, Leo Messi is showing the rest of the world that money gained by sportsmen should be utilized properly by assisting the needy.
This foundation clearly indicates that Messi is an individual of high integrity. This is because his integrity has driven him to help out children who are in poverty conditions. This foundation is therefore a perfect example of leadership.
The celebrity’s image is enhanced by the fact that people view Messi in a positive way. He is regarded to as generous by the media. His public image has therefore been very good and acceptable in the society.
Integrity and image management are very compatible. This is true because once an individual creates a good image or publicity; his integrity is usually rated highly by the society. It is therefore appropriate to say that a great image management leads to a conclusion that the individual involved is of high integrity.
