If there is an innovation that completely changed the world, it is that of computers. Formerly, getting access to information was very difficult as there were no printing machines, internet and various communication media that are in use today. There were no virtual communications as well as distant learning that the world is enjoying today. However, computers have their negative side too. In communication, computers have various features that ensure quick and real-time sharing of information. Computers have cameras, sound recorders and speaker that are used in audio and video communications. Through these features, the world has been converted to a global village as distance is no longer a hindrance to communication. Businesses have been able to use this for their advantages to reach out to more clients all over the world. Similarly, clients have also been able to check and compare prices and quality of products before going their purchases.
Finally, computers have also changed the education sector as learners and teachers are able to undertake online classes over media platforms using their computer devices ("Innovation in the use of computers in the classroom," 2014, p. 179). Virtual classes create space for more students that cannot be accommodated in one classroom.
