Avengers Endgame, a 2019 fictitious superhero flick, written and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Marvel Studios was among the top grossing movies of the year. A great degree of success of this movie can be attributed to the manner in which the movie was promoted by the creators and directors. Their marketing strategy stretched and covered wide areas of the media in order to reach their intended audience and more, upon analysis one can agree that their strategy did pay off as the fil grossed a total of over a billion dollars in total revenue. Among the pieces of addressing their audience that the parties in charge chose, the cover picture of the movie was the primary focus because most people would lay their hand on the cover picture before watching the movie, thus it had to be enticing enough. In essence, the cover photo covered a wide range of information that the audience would truly enjoy and grasp what the movie would be about. Thus, the photo chosen as their primary cover photo had a number of aspects that the audience enjoyed, for instance it was persuading enough, contained the writers and creators of the film, the target audience was clearly defined and the arrangement of the characters and other content provided credibility and the logical appeal that the movie which was the fourth and last installment of the series of movies produced in this particular phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The cover photo addressed their persuasive factor in various ways. For instance, the back part of the photo had the photos of the main protagonists of the film with one specific ‘Hawkeye’ who was absent from the previous installment and the fans were yearning for his presence in this particular installment. Additionally, on top of the pictures of the protagonists, the words; ‘A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CINEMATIC EVENT’ were written in bold to advertise the mind-blowing degree this movie would actually be. More so, the abstract of the fil contains reviews of certified film analyst Peter Trevor of Rolling Stone tells the viewers that they should prepare to be wowed, thus increasing the persuasion effect in which the cover photo played. Additionally, this being a superhero film, the logic and credibility applied would adhere to the parameters of a fictitious film, in essence, the content used would only make sense to a Marvel fanatic or anyone who has been following the previous installments of the films in the franchise, regardless the cover photo can be analyzed for anyone to comprehend.
Significantly, the title of the film and the heroes apply to the emotion and logic of the audience. More so, the title Avengers refers to Earth’s mightiest heroes who unite to fight off evil that threatens the human race, the heroes are seen in the posters led by the character in the middle of the poster.
