Introduction
Cancer has increasingly prevailed as a contemporary health issue globally. Studies indicate that at least 14.1 million new cancer cases and more than 8.2 million cancer-related deaths were confirmed in 2012 (National Cancer Institute, 2016). The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that there could be at least 24 million new cancer cases by 2035 and more than 14.5 million deaths annually related to cancer (National Cancer Institute, 2016). As other infectious diseases such as obesity decline in the low-income regions, cancer has become a pressing health issue in these regions. The low-income countries accounted for more than 60 percent of the global cases and 65 percent of the cancer-related deaths globally. Therefore, this essay aims to describe cancer's background, its impacts on health, health care, or the professional field, and the procedures to address this cancer issue to resolve it successfully.

Even though the survival rates promise a new era, cancer remains a global issue both in the short term and long-term. Evaluating China's case, cancer has been a trending health issue, with lung cancer representing a more significant proportion in the prevalence statistics. According to the National Central Cancer Registry (NCCR), there were approximately 605 946 new lung cancer diagnoses in China, with 416 333 men and 189 613 women (Chen, Zheng, Zeng, & Zhang, 2015). The general incidence was 46.08 percent per 100 000.
