Osama bin laden was a wanted criminal by the government of U.S, and he was the leader and a founder person of the Islamic militant group known as al-Qaeda.for the last five years he was sheltering next to a Pakistan military camp. He killed on May 2011 by the United States Navy seals. The central intelligence agencies, U.S Army special operation commands, 160th special operation and airborne team conducted the operation. Immediately after the operation, the body is taken to Afghanistan for further identification and confirmation. After that, the body is taken for burial at the sea within a period of 24 hours according to the Islamic religion. The operation of killing Osama made the al Qaeda to be furious with the action and agreed to avenge the matter (Sunday Express, 15 May 2011). It was a celebration all over the world, and it got support from many continents including Europe and other countries of the United States. The killing of Osama took place when President Barak Obama was in his first term as the president of the United States of America. The paper aims to give a brief history of the al-Qaida and the effects of the death of Osama to al Qaeda and Pakistan.
The al Qaeda was an invasion of Afghanistan to recruits many Muslims volunteers who are coming from the Arabs countries and Pakistan to participate in the Afghan jihad war. Its definition is a group or an organization of Arabs people headed by an Arab leader Osama bin Laden. He was a symbol of unity for the jihads people. With his brave mind inspired many Muslims youths to take their arms and go out to fight their enemies and follow his commands. Osama believed that the United States was their sole enemy of Muslims, and he inspired all the Muslims to stand together and fight United States including other countries who hated Muslim religion. He had determination with one goal of success that he will create a strong al-Qaida that it will serve him forever (Daniel L.Byman: May 12, 2011).
The killing of Osama bin Laden has led to the deterioration of this group al Qaeda. He took life mentoring this group over a gradual of years which led to the killing of many people.al Qaeda is just a small of group of dedicated individuals who are highly trained but now they are a lacking a leader. Although, the killing of their leader enabled them to strongly unite to affiliate the action of trying to revenge for the killing of Osama, their leader. However, after some time this organization will be running out of finance to fund this group because Osama was the only person who could access the fund. In addition, al Qaeda will not be strong and have togetherness because they do not have a strong leader who can group them together and keep unity.
Due to his killing U.S, military and other security agencies can take the chance and destroy all the powers of al Qaeda. It has speed up the action of dissolution of Al Qaeda and killing other r regional leaders. (/sgp/crs/terror/R41809.pdf).
Conclusion
Things are getting worse after the killing of their leader Osama bin Laden. Al Qaeda followers are trying to be affiliate forcefully and on the hand, United States plans to kill their current leaders.
