Part 1: Demographics
I am interviewing Mr. Patrice who is a brother to Duncan. Duncan is the individual with disability; he is blind. Duncan was not born blind, he gained this disability after undergoing operation when he was 8 years, and currently Duncan is 15 years old. He has lived with this condition for seven years. His family have been supportive; they show him love and give him needed support. Every family member is obliged to help Duncan and they do it out of love and passion for their son. Seven years has made this family realize that life of an individual can change within a very short period. It has changed their perspective on people with disability and they believe that these people are indeed special persons who should be treated with respect and love just like anyone else would love to be treated.
