Introduction

The topic has gained so much attention and debate due to the increase in mass shootings and rate of violence by adolescents. The theory states that the effect can influences a person action by motivates them to reach full potential, inspiring people to achieve like their model. When the media portray these violence behaviors from the perpetrators, they often them a lot of attention, give them a unique title, present their past story interestingly. It is likely that adolescents admire the idea and behavior of these perpetrators as they can often find similarly from them such as to overcome the feel of being oppressive from school, peers and family. Once they start to admire their “role model”, they will image these criminals whose success seems attenable and started to mimic what they did and say.
