Watch the TED Talk and read the Men’s Health article, which delve into the health and longevity benefits that people who live in Blue Zones enjoy. The communities that live in these zones are in different regions of the globe and have varying ethnic backgrounds, yet all live longer than average. These communities represent an excellent opportunity to evaluate the effect that making healthy choices can have on improving modifiable risk factors. Write a 750- to 1375-word paper (3 to 5 pages) explaining a tentative plan for how you could incorporate as many (at least four) of the nine recommendations into your daily routine, or into the daily routine of a man in your life. You will explore what benefit you perceive to be gained by doing so. Approximately 78 years is the age at which most people on the planet make it to maturity. However, there are different locations every year, individuals commemorate their 100th birthdays. The regions of the world with the healthier and longest-living populations are called the "Blue Zones." The researchers that studied the Blue Zones discovered that all of them had nine common lifestyle behaviors that contributed to their high levels of mental but also physical wellness. Therefore, the essay describes how I can incorporate some of these recommendations.
Having a purpose in life is one of the suggestions I would try to implement in my own life. Depending on the findings of the Blue Zones Initiative, having a crystal-clear cause that inspires one to get up from bed and perform at one's best may add years to overall life expectancy—having a feeling of life's purpose might add as many as seven years to its duration. You also don't need to discover purpose by striving for enormous accomplishments, like becoming the CEO of your firm. According to NPR, finding your life's mission might start with something as simple as excelling at a professional endeavor or discovering a creative outlet of your own. As part of such Blue Zones Project, Buettner suggests sticking a note on your bathroom mirror that reads "the default objective: Grow and also Give." That's also significant because determining one's life purpose represents the first step in leading a more aware existence (Joshi, 2021).
