Due to the class assessment now I am aware of the impact of cross-platform technologies has on my life. We have learnt a lot based on the cross platform technologies and some of the major things we had addressed are what we face in our daily lives. A good example is the house automation using the different home automation tools and applications. We were given the chance to expound on the automation at home and selected the home assistant for my case since it is what I have applied at home at one time. There are major things that the technologies have impacted in my life most of which are positive when addressed by simplifying the activist that are repetitive like the switching on of the TV and some other gadgets.
I have changed the way view things at my professional level due to the class assessment. Recently we handled something related to the intelligence of deep fake which have spread highly as a result of the ease of accessing photos and personal information over the internet. The major thing that can be addressed under this is the care that should be taken when I want to post my personal images on the internet. The next time I am posting something to the public I will be very observant to ensure I have placed the necessary content that cannot be used against me in any one. This include the images like the memes and also the comments I post on the social media as these are the basic things that can be used against someone.
The most significant thing I have learned over the assessment is the ability to create a linear and a multi regression model. These was one of the hardest thing I thought I could do only to realize it was one of the simplest thing that someone can do. In the recent week we models a linear regression model using the jupyter notebook and my experience was very learning on how to use the python libraries in the creating models that can be used even in a real life situation. We evaluated some different factors like the horsepower, weight and the velocity of the car and how they relate using the correlation measures which has also something I did not known how to do. Performing a correlation between different variables have been awesome.
Some of the benefits of the cross platform technologies at personal life includes the societal increase in wider market. A cross platform application allows different people to be able to use our services. Since it can be used on the IOS, ANDROID and also the desktop applications it will be accessible to everyone hence anyone can use the technology increasing the markets. The other societal benefit is that is creates a simple way to perform the data analysis. Ere we can use any device to perform the analysis ad also given that we have a lot of data from all the sides it makes it a good way of ensuring there is effectiveness in the data analysis (Grzmil, 2017).
