Team management is the capability of a person or an organization to manage and coordinate people to carry out a specific task. Team management includes communication, teamwork, goal setting, and the performance of the job. Identification of the problem and problem-solving can also be termed as termed management. As a leader, one can apply various skills and leadership styles to increase productivity and effective teamwork. In teamwork, communication is one of the key to accomplish a specific task.
Having well-oriented team management in the media improves the performance in the industry. A well-managed media team increases the interaction within the media fraternity and effectively sharpens and emphasizes the intended message to the members and people present in the media (Lynn&Kalay, 2016). For instance, a media preparing to win a given award must embrace the team management skill. In every media, there are at least three workers who are the media coordinator, a writer or the editor, and the news anchor. Even though the organization may decide to divide the work among individuals, teamwork and team management are very important. The three-team must cooperate harmoniously to win and to perform a given task effectively (Nonose, Kanno&Furuta, 2015). The media coordinator who acts as the team manager ensures that the press is and released on time and the editor, together with the news anchor, performs their task effectively. Therefore the idea of team management should be applied for the objective to be achieved.
Therefore, I learned that the objectives are achieved in every teamwork or team management through good communication.
