Judicial Review is the power bestowed in the United States of America by the constitution to make a final ruling on decisions made by federal government executive bodies, the legislature, any other lower courts. The Supreme Court got its constitutional Judicial Review power through a landmark ruling that was agreed upon in the case of Marbury verses Madison of 1803. The ruling was first demented by the then Chief Justice John Marshall. James Madison, the then Secretary of State during Thomas Jefferson
Most of the founders of the Judicial Review expected the Supreme court to have the power of making a final ruling but they did not specify any written mandate bestowed up on the court.
