Molly Brown Impressive Facts
I was impressed by Molly Brown in the part where she played a significant role in assisting the survivors of the sinking ship. Brown helped the survivors from the sinking titanic by urging the Lifeboat No.6 to go back to the scene and try saving more people. Additionally, she took part in the Survivors Committee by getting the titanic memorial to Washington. Also, upon completion of her rescue mission, brown decided to recognize more women that were less fortunate through losing their entire fortunes and families and gathered fellow passengers from the upper-class to donate money for the struggling children and widows. When the Carpathia was about to dock in New York, she had managed to raise $10,000 through her effort.
I also was impressed by the fact that Molly Brown played an essential role in advocating for women and children’s rights. In 1912, she also decided to run for the Senate position, eight years prior to women within the United States having the voting rights. Additionally, in the year 1914, Brown aided in organizing the international rights of women conference in Newport, Rhode Island, that had to be attended by the activists from the entire world.
