NETFLIX INC: BRAND PROFILE
Netflix Inc is one of the biggest streaming entertainment service providers in the world. The company was first founded in 1997 where it served as an online platform for DVD rentals. Its headquarters are located in Los Gatos, California. The company currently offers services in film production, film distribution and television production where a number of TV shows have been featured in the same. Initially, the company’s business model was offering DVD sales and rental by mail where the latter was abandoned shortly after it was introduced. Over the years, the company has grown tremendously with its biggest breakthrough coming in 2010 where it unveiled its streaming services CITATION Net12 \l 1033 (Netflix Inc, 2012). However, this was only done in Canada before introducing the program to the rest of the world. Afterwards, the company made a debut in the content production industry in 2012 with the production of its first series, Lilyhammer.
