Introduction
The Giant supply began as a simple grocery store in Kaula Lumpur by the Teng family in 1944. The Hypermarket remains managed via Giant Capital Holdings plus it remains one of the biggest hypermarkets found in Malaysia with it’s headquarter in Shah Alam, Selagor (Polas & Nianyu, 2019). The corporation had developed to operate about eighty-six hypermarkets in Malaysia and its outlet size ranging from three hundred and fifty thousand square feet hypermarket in Shah Alam toward eleven thousand square feet supermarket in Kuala Lumpur in the year 2006 (Selvaraju & Luthra, 2020). The chain involves six stores in Singapore plus seventeen hypermarkets in Indonesia.
The Giant Hypermarket provides an extensive range of domestic merchandise comprising of fresh vegetables, seafood and local fruits in a wet marketplace environment. The strategic persons to the achievement of the Giant Hypermarket are the Teng family who is the owners and the chief executive officer, Dato’John Coyle (Selvaraju & Luthra, 2020).
