From projects to operations, excellent delivery from the two perspectives calls for adhering to and ensuring that the extent of quality goes beyond expectations. Though defined differently in the two aspects, project and operation management, quality is a prerequisite that needs not to go omitted as it is critical for propelling organizational goal in the long run (Patyal, & Koilakuntla, 2017). Quality Assurance Vs. Quality Control
With a sole intention to satisfy, quality reflects some level of standards and excellence degree in either performing and delivering to the intended destination, which can be a customer or stakeholder. Therefore, quality cannot be fully achieved if the satisfaction falls short. In matters control and assurance of quality, there tends to be a thin line that keeps them apart though all are interdependent of each other and also geared towards satisfaction (Patyal, & Koilakuntla, 2017). For quality assurance, its process-oriented, whereas quality control is product oriented. As such, quality control ensures and checks the quality of a product. Whether Quality Assurance, on the other hand, is aimed at ensuring whatever needs to be done is appropriately executed to expectations.
