One of Beyonce’s albums shows a video of her smashing cars. The author of “Moving Beyond Pain” calls it “destroying with no shame.” From my perspective, the action is a racial idea in the 21st century. Traditionally, black people were known to be violent and aggressive (Als, 2016). Beyonce’s act reminds the viewer about the past of African Americans. However, the blacks have adapted to American life, and they are transforming people’s perception about themselves.
