RE: Reply Letter to Customer Grievance on Faulty phone
Dear Client,
We are much obliged for writing to us. We are aware of your complaint through one of our salespeople who was previously handling your case. We are sorry for the bad experience that you had with the purchased phone in our store. We rarely had such an instance, and most of our staff little on handling such a case (Rahman, M. K.2016). Due to your handling, we kindly request your forgiveness, and we will manage our staff's reaction towards you appropriately. Our customary norm is that such kind of escalated issues should be with management to make a decision.
Concerning your case, or any other faulty phone bought from our store by clients can only be catered by manufactures guarantee or by our shop if the damage is likely to have come from our side. With the first scenario, the manufacturer has strict terms and conditions for a guarantee to apply to avoid any unnecessary fault or damage caused by the user (Lee, S. 2015). The warranty also has a specific period that it is valid. Hence any defect that occurs beyond the designated period is not taken care of by guarantee. The constitution protects this commitment under consumer rights. Examples of necessary cases that we have seen falling under this category are mostly where the phone has a problem with its operating system. A phone switches off due to mechanical issues, and other problems are likely to have come from the manufacturer's side. We try to access your situation, and it rarely falls under the guarantee cover.
