Introduction
The term ‘sonnet” was derived from the Italian word ‘sonneto’ denoting a little song. While the sonnet usually expresses the poet’s deepest thoughts and feelings, often associated with love and death, its structure places particular attention to formalism and a rhyming scheme. On the other hand, the prose essays are a distinctive form of writing in literature, which takes into account the aspects of character, plot, mood, and theme to create a vivid description of the situation at hand. Grammatical sentences used in prose essays take the form of a paragraph. Therefore, while both sonnets and prose essays are both works of literature, they take different forms of language, structure, and nature to convey an idea. 
The structure of an English sonnet and that of a prose essay is inherently different. Perhaps the most noticeable feature of the sonnet is its three quatrains (a four-line stanza) each adopting an independent rhyme scheme. Typically, the rhyming scheme of the sonnet is abab cdcd efef gg.  Apart from comparing the logical organization of ideas in an essay,
