Elections are an important constitutional right in a country. Every part of the political divide is given a chance to give their manifesto to the people and make their campaigns known to the people (Levy, 2016). Hillary Clinton was one of the presidential aspirants in United States of America. She had to tour all the states to convince the voters that she was the best candidate. Her last speech was done in Philadelphia on the 7th of November 2016. She held rallies in independence mall. She was accompanied by her daughter Chelsea, her husband Bill Clinton, former president barrack Obama and Michelle Obama as well as Springsteen and Bon Jovi and other delegates of the Democratic Party. This event was very important to the public and to Hillary Clinton. The public need to know the type of leaders they elect into office to take care of their needs. Such a rally was aimed at informing the public of what Hillary Clinton can do for the people of United States if elected president. The event is a campaign event where Hillary Clinton is talking to the voters to support her in making America great again.
The final rally of a campaign is the time when politicians give their last speech and assurances to the citizens. Hillary Clinton held the rally for the purpose of convincing the American voters that they need to vote for her to make America great. Several people attended this rally to listen to the speeches and see what some people believed is history when a woman becomes the president of the United States of America. Several people gave their speeches and each of them was insisting on the importance of voting for Hillary Clinton. Her husband Bill Clinton also insisted on the same issue insisting that Hillary Clinton has lived her life fully dedicated to making changes in people’s life. He is the man who was once in power and fully understands the challenges that come with power. The other person who gave her speech is Chelsea, Hillary’s daughter. She was an example of the woman who has been modeled by Hillary. She trusts that her mother is the best candidate and urges all to walk together with her to the final destination of voting for Hillary Clinton.
The speech from the former first family showed that they had endorsed Hillary for the position. Michelle Obama gave a speech that was centered on women. America needs a leader who has respect for women. All women deserve to be treated with dignity and therefore she insisted that the only leader who could bring dignity to women was Hillary. She also insisted that great leaders see dignity and humanity in all people. A leader can unite all irrespective of race or gender. What she insisted on the most is that Americans when they vote for Hillary Clinton would have made the best decision ever.
The speech from former president barrack Obama was brief and precise. He was against the election of Donald Trump. He insisted that a person whose twitter account could not be well operated during the campaigns could not be trusted with the most sensitive issues of the country such as nuclear weapons (Wang et al., 2016). His concern was that Americans will choose wisely and vote Hillary Clinton who will be able to unite the people of America and provide the best services they need.
The peak of the rally was the speech from the democrats’ presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. She was the main reason for the event. She is a woman who is focused to achieve the best of the campaigns. She thanked the people who came in large numbers and supported her in her rallies. Her vision is to see an inclusive America that is united and one again (Parry-Giles, 2014). She wants to see the people of America harmoniously coordinate with the rest of the world. She stated that the rough road that the campaigns took was not good and the supporters believed that it was not her fault. She insisted that by the crowds coming up in large numbers to vote for her that they will never regret but rather they will stand up after days and declare that they had made the best decisions of their life. She wanted the people to show that love trump over hate.
Every campaign event is required to give a picture of how important it is to vote for a particular candidate. This campaign was important in giving the people of Philadelphia the insight of what their presidential candidate was offering and what her vision for their country was. The event was well depicted in the media showing a wide coverage so as to reach as many people as possible. The citize...
