How Children Learn Through Storytelling
Storytelling connects the human race. It is through stories that we can know what happened in the past and have a picture of what will happen in the future. Storytelling dates back when humans started walking and before they had the knowledge of writing and talking. In the ancient, stories were told through cave drawings. The art of storytelling has been vital in three important forms; the beginning of the story, the body, and the conclusion. Even though storytelling over the past years has been used as a tool of entertainment, storytelling can be used as a tool of learning in the enhancement of creativity, help in socializing and communication and assist in emotional development.
