The Penultimate Truth Essay
Having a mode of communication makes it easier for individuals and a group of people to have a systematic follow of information from one point to the other. Thus, Language is simply defined as the capability to attain and use compound systems of communication especially the human being ability to do so. This model as employed by the Author of the Penultimate Truth is based on the setting of simple proposition that things are not quite, what they seem in the world. They do not know the reality. Philip, in his distinctive paranoid way, infers, and I use the word prudently – from this view a world that elucidates the falsehood of life under a deceitful government rule. He explains, in the result, the political approach of ‘the big lie’: tell the people loudly, often, enough what you want them to believe and eventually they will believe it without demur. Moreover, THE PENULTIMATE TRUTH is not an analogy or parable, after reading the novel one cannot support but turn a sceptical eye towards our structures of government.
