ACA Provisions and The Quality of Care
Quality of patient care is defined as the degree to which health care services to patients and other populations depict an increase in the likelihood of the desired outcomes. On the other hand, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a federal statute signed by the government to contribute to its efforts to deliver health care services (Eguia et al., 2018). The provision of health care to the patients has indicated a close relationship with the ACA over the many years. The provisions provide a relationship to top the quality of patient care through effective addressing of the rising costs and providing more premium health insurances that emphasize the protection and delivery of effective treatments to the patients.
According to Willging et al. (2018), the current quality state can have improved from the previous state. The improved quality of care can be pointed out from the ability of the people to access health care services with limited obstacles and hinderances effectively. The entire population is also able to access quality healthcare services when they are in need. The relationship established can be pointed out from the fact that the implementation of ACA has contributed to the provision of more health insurance policies that cover most of the medical bills that people cannot afford. Equally, the ACA, in the attempt to necessitate the provision of quality health care services, has effectively ensured the reduction of the cost incurred in accessing these services. Equally, the act has ensured that about 9 million people will be insured to receive quality health care services (Willging et al., 2018). Therefore, this is a clear indication that the ACA has effectively worked towards providing and maintaining quality healthcare services within the USA population.
Moreover, future recommendations that I could personally propose to be incurred within the ACA are to ensure an increase in the number of people insured to facilitate the delivery of quality health care services to every citizen of the USA. H
