It has brought a complete change in day-to-day business by restricting movement, confining people to homes, and imposing travel bans. It has also caused unexpected life loss, exacerbated health issues, and increased mental health problems. Though COVID-19 is a cloud having a silver lining too with increased availability of time with family, better environment due to shutdown of human activities, overall it has raised questions about the health system and whether it was ready to cope with an emergency like that or not? Transformational leadership helped the healthcare workers to address public concerns and to keep things in order amidst COVID-19 however, the problems associated with COVID-19 and myths regarding vaccination persist and need more attention to deal with this pandemic and with any forthcoming situation like that in the future.
