Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing this letter in relation to the rising health care costs. Good health is vital to any individual in this world. The congress ought to take this matter into consideration especially through analysis of the findings of this paper. Thus, this letter seeks to analyze the problems of increasing health care and possible solutions towards solving them.
The first major problem facing the health industry is the number of equipments, services, and doctors available also contribute to rising of health care cost CITATION Bei12 \l 1033 (Beik, 2012). The less the availability of the required resources in the health field, the expensive the services offered. The issue of shifting of risk to providers also contributes to increasing health care cost. The patients have to pay more cash for the provision of the services while the providers earn more cash by providing extra services. Also, hospitals operate on their own processes and charges systems. This has lowered uniformity, allowed them to apply charges, and ranked in diagnosis-related groups. This system generates high revenue and competitiveness hence high quality health care. Though this is true, the disadvantages of such prospects outweigh the advantages hence the critiques of these health care programs gain a firm ground against them.
The uninsured members in the society contribute greatly to increase in taxes, co-pays, premiums and the health care services in the country. Being uninsured means that the government has to pay for one's health care services hence turning to the people for cash to pay for the health care. This brings about cost distribution to the people hence an increase in cost to everyone. Literally, the existence of cons supporting the uninsured has not surfaced to recognizable heightsCITATION Bei12 \p 56-69 \l 1033 (Beik, 2012, pp. 56-69). Even though, the critiques have criticized the rising health care cost due to uncontrolled health industry by the government. They claim that the rehabilitation of this sector will lead to reduced cost of paying for the uninsured. Also, insurance in health care programs should be encouraged to ensure affordable and friendly health care costsCITATION Ent021 \p 56-71 \l 1033 (Enthoven, 2002, pp. 56-71).
One of the programs involves a long-term care financing system, which funds through personal payments, personal insurance, state funds, Medicaid and Medicare. Also, an acute care service gets finances through public funding works hence raising the cost of health care. Also, retirement income for the aged caters for their health care. The pros advocate for the same way of offering health care to the aged but face opposition from a bitter cons side. They claim the existence of aged people who were not government employees; hence, get no retirement cash and solely depend on public funding. The government should first control the health sector to ensure that the health care cost lowers.
