Trauma is a condition or severe behavioural state that results from either mental or emotional problems for example misconception in the human brain, and torture and brutality within the family set up. The essay aims at comparing situations that would likely result into mental dysfunction. The article compares PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder) interns of symptom severity and symptom cluster (Lynn et al, 2008).
To accomplish the comparison, the nursing staff, the nursing staff organized a group to witness a threat to patients. The post Trauma Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a peculiar disorder where the diagnostic criteria are triggered by the psychiatric disorder.
The comparison of the traumatic situation involved a large population of people involved in the process of comparing the different traumatic conditions. The patients were not exceptional since they too suffered from injuries caused by objects. In spite of concern from the medical department, the traumatic conditions do not cause threats to the nursing staff but instead they cause more problems to themselves. They believe that the nursing staff is assisting for their well being (Lynn et al, 2008).
The comparison of the witnessed and direct trauma has different impacts differently to the application areas, especially when the affected is attending to some work.
