Environmental health is an important aspect of human life existence. As a branch of public health t is typically concerned with the natural and environmental factors affecting human health. In recent times, environmental health has become a major concern considering that humans have lacked safe and clean drinking water, clean air and nutritious food, which have all resulted from environmental pollution (Warnasooriya and Gunasekera, 2017). Water and sanitation have notably been the grand issue, necessitating necessary action plans to mitigate it. However, developing an action plan to mitigate this concern would need multicultural consideration and community collaboration. Multicultural health needs to be considered when addressing the issue of environment and human health.

These waste collection centers would be separated into those that collect biodegradable wastes, food wastes, paper wastes and electronic wastes. The community would also be taught to recycle and reuse kitchen products, including water bottles and cans. Conservation of the natural environment and the water catchment areas would also be another practical option to improve environmental health. This is particularly crucial because it would help control water pollution to reduce the risks of getting water-borne diseases like diarrhea and typhoid. My active involvement in community activity will see me planting trees with the community members and cleaning water sources.
