There has been a declining trend as far as consideration of healthy ageing in public health is concerned. While people continue to ignore this important aspect of health care, it has proven to be essential to make sure that people who are not of an economically productive age are able to keep a healthy life. Although various groups strive to put it under control, it has lately emerged that not all the religious groups have their interests taken care of (O'Callaghan, 2018). Most organizations, especially those that are managed by Non-Muslims, are marred by unfair representations, posing a great challenge in achieving the objectives for which they exist. It is for this reason, therefore, that I find it crucial to meet those from the underrepresented denomination in their place of worship to create this awareness.
According to Beard (2016), the most important factor to consider just before meeting this population is their beliefs and practices, especially when it comes to the various genders of the human race. In a mosque, one is likely to find that almost all religions are still struggling to address gender mainstreaming and gender equality. In this regard, there is a need for me to have information beforehand on which gender they consider and care more for, in comparison to the other one. For instance, in most areas, males are considered to be the breadwinners in Muslim families. Therefore, it is most likely to find that this group cares more for a healthy aging of their males than females.
