Healthcare Bill (Essay Sample)

Instructions:

Healthcare Bill Student’s Name Course Lecturer Date of Submission  One of the issues that have really moved America after its elimination of terrorism and disease is the Obama Health Care Bill. Many Americans have stood to oppose the passing of it to become a law. From many years of the past, the bill has been kept pending by several regimes that have come and gone. They have failed, intentionally, to allow for its passing. When Obama was elected as the president of America, he had this as one of his key targets. Amazing is how he never even allowed for a debate over it. He only signed it to give his consent. May be this explains why it is called by his name. Many people have questioned this, and tried to prove it as an inappropriate move, but it already is and is not being changed soon. However, this is one of the land marks in America. This is because of the unification of the two political parties in making sure that it t was worked on. The medical bill is a scheme that touches majorly on two key issues. These are the payment of doctors and a cover for the children of America. About doctors, it addresses the point that their wages should not be reduced whatsoever as had been proposed earlier. The key thing is that the people, and particularly seniors, who use Medicare, would start getting quality services, (Lowrey 2013). About children, the law allowed for the health insurance for children to continue for an extra 2 years. More still children would continue to enjoy checkups from time to time without having to pay. Immunizations will now be extended to new born children for no extra charge. Diagnosis and treatment of all children’s ailments will now be subsidized, (Noam 2010).   References Lowrey, A. (2013).
