Eating disorders are disturbances in feeding behavior. The symptoms consist of altered consumption of food and compensatory eating behaviors. The research on men’s eating disorders shows that symptoms vary across the gender and that most measuring instruments address female eating disorders. The difference in symptoms and diagnosis necessitates the development of a male assessment tool apart from the Eating Disorders Assessment Tool for Men(EDAM). The diagnostic tool addresses male eating habits such as eating disorder symptoms, esteem issues, and related psychological issues(Stanford & Lemberg, 2012). The Eating Disorders Assessment Tool identifies specific symptoms that would not be categorized as either Bulimia or Anorexia Nervosa. Male
