Anthropology is generally considered to be of utmost importance to society and human beings at large. Through the discipline, people get to understand various aspects of present and past human life that would otherwise be impossible. Acritical analysis of anthropology is done concerning the scope of its definition, the importance of bearing anthropological perspectives in seeking solutions to certain human crises and the general importance of history in shaping and understanding the present.
Anthropology is the study of humans with a specific focus on getting an understanding of their origins, the things that make them distinct to other species and the diversities that comes with their stay on the planet earth over time. The field- also sometimes referred to as the study of human science is divided into subfields. These subfields are as follows; Archeology, studies human past and how they lived during that period, their specific cultures of the past and also the types of diets they have in the past as well as diseases that engulfed them.
