Behind the great nations that we see today is a myriad of events and people who shaped the nations to be what they are today. One such nation is the great People’s Republic of China which was founded in 1949 by one Mao Zedong who is credited to be one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century. Mao was a revolutionary leader who steered his country towards communism. This did whoever not come easy as there were many struggles, many battles fought, many failures and successes alike involved in the making of the republic. Learning about such leaders will help us understand where these nations have come from and thus help in the development of nations by them learning from past mistakes and embracing the successes of their predecessors.
