Introduction
The concept of partisanship especially for the American presidents is a concept which is widely used although it is not well theorized. The concept can be defined as the feelings of the president towards loyalty of his party to choice of policies and style of leadership. However, when analyzing the presidents partisanship research has dwelt on certain specific behaviors without considering others. But its evident high polarization leads to a separation of two partisan camps. The result of the polarization does not just include how much but how the citizens are divided. The latter leads to not only disagreements in politics but also affects what it means to be an American. Indeed, according to political scientists the differences that feature in American political system have turned into both a malice and scorn with both parties Democrats and Republicans likely to refer to each other as stupid and selfish than in few decades ago. According to (Badger and Chokshi, 2017) forty nine per cent of the republicans did not wish for their sons or daughters to be married to the democrats while on their part, thirty three per cent were of the same opinion. Nonetheless, it is essential to realize that partisan divisions are healthy and are part of a strong democracy.
