Entity relation diagram (ERD) is an ideal database design presented as visual before the actual database implementation. It critically gives the concept of how the database should be like and what it seeks to achieve. I agree with the author that before actual coding of the database starts, ERD helps in flaws and error identification and eradication a factor that promotes the database's efficiency and effectiveness. I concur with the author's definition of Entities and attributes and how the two relates. Attributes belong to an entity. Perhaps to simplify, entity refers to tables in a relational database while the attributes are the various columns that a table contains (Siswanto, 2020). Thus, each table must have at least one attribute that is a primary key, which uniquely identifies records in that table.
