Introduction
Juvenile delinquency is similar to any other crime committed by human beings only that this time the crimes are conducted by young individuals. Before maturing, young males and females have less comprehension of the world. Teachers, parents, and friends are all accountable for this youth actions, and that is why the government does not punish the teenagers in the same manner in which the adults are punished (Hawkins & Weis, 2017). There exist separate juvenile courts where these teenager cases are listened to and judged accordingly. The main reason for minor punishment is to assist the teenager to comprehend the importance of avoiding and staying away from crime. For my research proposal, I will seek to answer the following questions: (1) what are the causes of juvenile delinquency among the teenagers (2) what has the government done to be able to solve this menace. Similarly, the proposal will discuss the reason why juvenile delinquency is scientifically relevant to the study of crime and social control.
Research Design
This research proposal will utilize the explanatory research design.
