In this study, the researcher takes into consideration the medical malpractices which are as a result of negligence. The researcher based his research in North Carolina. Currently, there is a rapid increase in the cost of insurance premiums in North Carolina. The researcher argues that understanding the nature of the tort law will help to minimize medical malpractices, which are as a result of negligence. The article also highlights about the various forms of legislature governing medical practices as a result of negligence.
