Introduction
Adolescence is a stage where children or young person transits into an adult, both physically and mentally. It is during this stage that most young adults try to figure out their roles and purpose in life. As such, there is a need for continuous guidance to ensure successful choices are made for a better future generation. Some of the major considerations in the enhancement of education and the learning experience are discussed in this paper through the integration of technology.
Ways in which Cognitive and Social Development affect Learning
During the change period from childhood to adulthood, there is an aspect of increase in cognitive view that includes improvement in the mode of thinking and perception of things. Cognitive and social development in adolescents is variable and may limit the ability to perceive and measure risks effectively. During the adolescent period, youths tend to be self-dependent in terms of making personal decisions that at times differ from their guardians. Improvement in ability to examine, think, and draw personal conclusions based on what is seen is an important contribution to positive learning.
