Pollution harms the development of animals, either reproductively or mentally. Several studies are backing up this claim for example in the sheep, exposed to air pollutants, their organs such as the ovary, testis, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and bone are affected, leading to changes in organ weight and gross structure, histology, and gene, and protein expression.1 Thus leading to stunted growth on the sheep.
