Gun shootings and violence are evident now and then in America. Majority of American citizens are not safer anymore. It’s weird to imagine the rate at which gun shootings happen in America, but this is the clear pattern witnessed over the past decades. Maybe something needs to be done. Debates over control of guns occur now and then, but nothing comes out of it. Several incidents of gun shootings in different states have been discussed. The recent mass shooting happened in Parkland, Florida which killed at least 17 people. A tremendous increase in death rates has been witnessed over the past decade (Gabor, 2016). Unlicensed guns are responsible for the increased crime rates in America.
Issues
Year in year out gun violence in America keeps on increasing. Gun-related deaths are now more than they were a decade ago.
The rooming atmosphere and political gun debates are always inclined more on mass shootings and murders.
Averagely, there is around one mass shooting each day in the United States
