Nurses are currently growing in recognition for the important role they play in administering medical care to patients, as they spend more time with patients, hence have a deeper understanding of a patient’s health trends, and can get timely information through their availability to patients and offer the best medical care available. Demand for BSN holders is increasing across the Nursing industry in the States, and across the globe, meaning my success in the course will make me very marketable.
Two-year Goals
Currently, I’m working part-time in a medical facility to support my academic journey through time in college. During the next two years, my goals are to complete my studies and graduate with honors, ready and armed with knowledge to apply to the many in society who are in need of a passionate individual like me, willing to make a difference in the medical arena. My second goal, over this period, is to maintain my current job. I am surrounded by great minds who have years of experience and knowledge that can diffuse to me through interacting with them as they work, as I pick up new skills and apply all that I learn (White, Duncan and Baumel, 2010, p.4).
